  • This place is definitely for anyone who loves NASA and/or space. With history about the launches, artifacts and replicas of different things on the ships, things to touch and play with to get a feel for how it would have been, and even some Star Trek stuff in one area too. I'd recommend to make a point to look up often since quite a few areas have things above your head as you walk. Missiles, planes, orbiters, nebula photos, etc. The gift shop is small but has a lot of stuff. Including a coin squish machine and astronaut candy.
  • I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this museum. It was fun and informative. There are a ton of larger pieces and rockets outside that you can walk around too! I had no idea how much space history was in the Alamogordo area! We purchased tickets for a showing at the planetarium and got to see a fly-through of the international space station and a really fun and personal star show. The man giving the show was very friendly and informative. There's also a playground if your kiddos need a break!
