Roosevelt Park is a historic park in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is listed on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places, and is a protected Albuquerque Historic Landmark. The park was built between 1933 and 1935 by manual laborers employed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal programs, turning a sandy arroyo filled with garbage into a rolling, grassy landscape planted with over 2,000 trees and bushes. It has long been one of the city's most popular gathering and recreation areas, although it also developed a reputation as a dangerous area beginning in the 1960s. The park received a major renovation in 2006–7.

  • We stopped here for a picnic while we were on a road trip. It was clean, cool, shady, and peaceful. The kids loved to get out and play.  more »

  • Great disc golf course, lots of variation, tons of traffic but very friendly people, overall pretty clean and well maintained. Only issue is not enough holes, would be nice if there were 18 individual holes/nets. Theres still a lot of park to take advantage of so they could easily add another 9 holes. However it's still a beautiful course regardless
  • Roosevelt Park is a great Park to take the kiddos & fur babies at once. It's a great Park to create memories that last for a lifetime. Although I find that there is a lot of ppl who smoke weed and do drug deals there so I felt my kids were not too safe but that's life. Didn't keep me from going my kids and I absolutely love it and enjoy making many more memories there. By the way the weed smokers are very friendly don't bother anyone mind their own business and mind your own business and that Park will continue to be a great Park.
