  • only open to visitors two times a year. Please check out the website for very specific details on how to visit. Was very impressive and can be seen in a relatively short period of time. there really is not much to see there however but is still worth doing at least once in your life.
  • Amazing piece of history. Only open two times a year. You can enter the blast zone. There is an obelisk memorializing the event. You can see remains of the tower. Several photos on the site showing the blast and aftermath. A small structure used to seal up the trinitite. Outside the fenced area are several more artifacts and and information area. Plenty of parking. About 20 minutes away is a house used by researchers.
