Gloria Drayer is the creator of Full Moon Yoga for Women and has produced a DVD of her regular Full Moon Yoga Event at White Sands, New Mexico. Her Book On “Yoga and Grief” will be released in 2013.

  • Update: Still love Gloria! Her special events throughout the year and her retreats are amazing, whether local or international. They have been instrumental in the peaceful life I'm living today. Gloria's yoga classes have always been a benefit to my life, whether I am practicing regularly, or barely attending any classes. Her ability to lead a mixed class and address the different levels of expertise is amazing. She always asks before class how everyone is doing physically. Then throughout class, she'll make modification suggestions to those students who mentioned any physical issues. Also, I know exactly my limits because she very clearly states what should be happening during the stretch, and what to be careful of, so that I am getting a really excellent stretch and workout, but never pushing my muscles beyond their ability. I really appreciated this after a bicycle accident, as I was able to attend class, modifying the poses based on her direction, and encourage healing and relaxation by the proper stretching of my body when I truly needed it most.
  • This class is taught by an amazing woman who has traveled the world in her training. The class is exactly what I need. I was worried it would be too hard and have moves that would make me roll my eyes. Instead it pushes me in a gentle way. I feel myself getting stronger and more flexible. I cannot wait to go each week. This class is what you have been looking for.
