APC is a church of sinners. It’s that simple. But we are bound together by the Gospel that saves us and transforms us. The transformation is, however, a process. God isn’t through with us yet. Everyone in this church is struggling with something. If you are currently struggling with greed, gossip, drugs, alcohol, sexual brokenness, eating disorders, anger, pride, etc—you are not alone. More importantly, God does not intend for you to struggle alone. That’s why He made the Church. If you would like to learn how your brothers and sisters at APC might be able to encourage you, pray with you and struggle alongside you, contact Pastor Tom Holliday at the church office. To visit Alexandria Presbyterian Church on your holiday in Alexandria, and find out what else Alexandria has to offer, use our Alexandria.

We had a wonderful docent who pointed out the historic importance. Also the grave markers are interesting to read. more »

I spent 15 years at APC and grew a lot during that time. I will always be grateful for that time. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this church will definitely be a welcome place to worship. more »

APC is a warm and welcoming church, rooted in reformed theology and grounded in the gospel. Many nations and colors are represented in the congregation, and the church takes very seriously ministering to others through both Word and deed. I love the blended worship style, the fellowship time, and the rich teaching through Sunday School classes for both adults and children. It's a wonderful church, feels like home.
