  John Chapman knew the history and kept the tour interesting. I was very impressed and so was my daughter. My daughter is not a child, she is 33 years old and was very happy with the tour.  more »

  Today my family and I had the pleasure of taking Manumission walking tour with Mr. John Chapman. We opted for the (2) two part tour. to learn about the vast African American history that took place in Oldtown Alexandria., VA. John provided a wealth of knowledge that my family will treasure and pass down. I highly recommend his service for anyone seeking historical events involving African Americans in Oldtown Alexandria, VA. You will truly become enlightened !! John will not disappoint!
