Carhenge is a replica of England's Stonehenge located near the city of Alliance, Nebraska, in the High Plains region of the United States. Instead of being built with large standing stones, as is the case with the original Stonehenge, Carhenge is formed from vintage American automobiles, all covered with gray spray paint. Built by Jim Reinders, it was dedicated at the June 1987 summer solstice. In 2006, a visitor center was constructed to serve the site.

    Cool arrangement of cars. Was worth it to see. Funny to see in your lifetime. If you're ever in this part of Nebraska, stop and take a look.

    can be quick stop, store had no ice. more than just the cars stacked, there was a cool fish sculpture too.

    First time to visit Carhenge! I was very amazed at how they took the old cars and made the cars look like Stonehenge!! Great job! So cool!! From a 57 Chevy, Gremlin, and Cadillac! Plus other vehicles from long ago! It was great to see and visit!! Plus there are other heavy metal artwork around Carhenge!

    This place is a great road side attraction. Open during daylight hours with a little shop it was a perfect little place to stop for a bit while on the road. It's definitely not something to plan a trip around, but it is a great place on the way.
