    We stopped here to to look at Thunder Bay. This park has a nice sized parking lot. Tennis courts, benches & an outdoor amphitheater. A walking path is by the water & I assume it runs along Thunder...  more »

    Walking the breakwater for the marine to get a good view of the Alpena light while watching the sunrise of Lake Huron is the perfect way to start your day. Take a fresh bagel from Neumann’s along to.....  more »

    It's the place to be. It provides so much for those who wish to enjoy the great outdoors. Wouldn't you love to see the village that raises you and be able to share in the moment of what it means to be alive? I do. That's why I love going to see whatever is going on :) it's more than just a place. It's UpNorth.

    The view is Extravagent. Nothing like it for me personally. I'm from out of the area and its summer now. I can sit on the rocks and sunbathe and its solitary. Amazing. The way the water crashes on the rocks. Mists you. A Must see
