  • Finally found Cecret Lake 🤫 and it was gorgeous! We took the longer trail from Albion base to make it more adventurous at 4.5 miles. Definitely glad we started in the morning to keep cool from the lack of shade. The steepest part was the switchbacks at the end but once you’re done, you’ve made it! The water sparkled an enchanting emerald green. We loved sitting on the rocks and taking in the serene view. We may have also found a stunning Cecret waterfall.
  • Very nice views from the trail. There were plenty of wildflowers blooming and most likely more to come in the near future (July 10, 2022). The hike up to the lake is not too bad for the first half of the hike up but it gets a little more tough when you hit the rocks as it's harder to navigate. Me and my girlfriend did this hike on our last day in Salt Lake City and had a lot of fun. Would recommend. Do need to pay $10 for entrance if you choose to drive the car up which I would highly recommend as hiking up on the road seems hard.
