  • As a natural-born Floridian of this state I can tell you the State of Florida did a wonderful job of preserving the park for years to come and this is the oldest spring and the biggest in the State of Florida if not the United States... . Really I don't think there's any other place in the world that would have spring this big... not only that this was here but way before the Civil War!!
  • Great little park with beautiful views. We loved snorkeling the crystal clear waters and saw a ton of wild life. The kayak/canoe run was easy and peaceful and the rentals are affordable at $18 for two hours. 4 stars cause one of the boats we rented had a hole in it (where it shouldn’t be). I believe they now only have one single kayak for rent according to the employee so call ahead to see if they’ve added more yet before going. Also, this place is popular so get there early for the most enjoyable experience. We were done around 1:30 and they had reached capacity at that point.
