Not too bad, it's great to take little kids to look at the animals. It's quite small though. I've gone many times and here are some tips: No Food, so pack a picnic or eat before. Go in the mornings...

What a fun zoo to visit! It's small and perfect. We loved the lemurs, lions, and snakes. Good for strollers for small kids. Just enough zoo for an outing. Next door is a glorious green space that would be perfect for a picnic.

We had a little time to kill in Amarillo so thought we would stop by the zoo. Admission is inexpensive and a great place to spend some time. There was a decent variety of animals, and all seemed well taken care of. Try to go early when the animals are most active. Employees were very friendly – Thanks!
