Amelia River Golf Club consists of 18 challenging holes where ball control and accuracy are key to a great round. The par 72 layout, that opened in 2000, gives the golfer a natural low country feel as the course winds through native water oaks, palmettos and southern pines.Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Amelia River Golf Club by using our Amelia Island online trip itinerary builder .
Amelia River Golf Club Reviews
Yea... OK... Nice Golf Course, just not the best... But they have the best Hot-dogs on the Island bar none... seriously... the best. So... if you have a real crapping golf game, go into the River Cafe... more »
Up from Boynton Beach on vacation. Played a round of golf on Thursday, August 16. Course is well kept. Relearning the game and Amelia River Golf Club was a great place to challenge me. Even from the w... more »
We had a wonderful lunch. Started with excellent Bloody Marys. Next, we had a cup of the soup of the day which was a fabulous shrimp and crab tomato bisque...loaded with shrimp an crab meat. Then, we all had the "Breakfast Sandwich", but with the bread on the side. In our case, the bread was a great, large bagel with cream cheese. The eggs were cooked perfectly and there were FOUR slices of bacon. More than any of us could eat and at a VERY reasonable price and super service.
First Class Golf and even better people. My Wife and i were vacationing in the area and decided to give them a call to see if we could play. We have had a few bad experiences with Rider Fees (She is not a golfer but enjoys the ride and scenery), so we inquired... We were told there was no rider fee. Wonderful! When we arrived, we were met by a very friendly man at the cart drop who explained everything to us and made us feel welcome and comfortable. We went inside to pay etc, and the people could not have been more friendly. They made it a lovely day for us and it was run so well, it felt like a high end resort course. I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely course and its beautiful clubhouse. We had a great day and even played with a member who also was a pleasure to be with. A genuinely lovely experience and we thank the staff who were so nice to us and made us feel welcome. We will be back!! Ray and Donna
