Magnolia Vineyards & Winery is located in Amissville, Va, just off scenic Route 211 in Rappahannock County. Owned by Glenn and Tina Marchione, we are a family-run boutique winery and vineyard, making small lots of mostly Bordeaux varietals. Quiet country peace, tranquility and great mountain views. Come relax in our cozy farmhouse tasting room or surrounding grounds and "Escape the Madness"! No stress, no pressure, just magnificent wines! Tasting Room open all year long Sat & Sun 11:30-5:30, plus select Holiday Mondays. June – August also open Fridays 12 – 6 and for sales only Mon & Thu (please call in advance). We offer our tastings paired with cheeses.

Due to our current size, we cannot accommodate groups of 8 or more without reservation (call 703.785.8180). Outdoor picnic area. Kids under adult supervision welcome. Dogs on leash welcome outdoors; must get along with other dogs.

Our first planting was in 2009 - we now have 7 acres planted, consisting of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese, and Viognier. First harvest and vintage was 2011, growing and expanding every year since!

  • We happened to be traveling to Castleton Farms for a visit and Magnolia was on our route. What a great decision to stop and do a tasting. We were traveling with our dog, Iggy, and it was so nice...

  • Breathtaking views...great selection of wines. 10 out of 10 in hospitality. What a lovely tucked away treasure that offers indoor and outdoor seating, you can feel the love that the owners invested. We look forward to our next visit.
  • This is a wonderful family vineyard. The current photos do not do justice to the expanded outdoor areas that have been provided during the pandemic, so I have added some photos. Service is excellent and the Cab Sauv, in particular, is very respectable.
