There's a really nice, wide paved walkway that ends with a view of the water. There are stairs that allow access to the shoreline, but it is a fairly narrow swath of land, especially at high tide. Dog walking is encouraged for on leash dogs. Owners are asked to clean up after their pets. Poop bags are usually available and there are garbage cans along the trail for responsible pet owners. There are still a handful of inconsiderate dog owners, but overall it's pretty clean in the grass areas along the path.
Beautiful vantage point. Some benches for seating, but I recommend picnicking on the rocks. Great, quick place to bring visitors!
