    I loved sitting here for the longest time just watching the float planes come and go. What a relaxing place. Was crazy busy about 5pm. Had not idea there was such a thing as floatplane rush hour...

    Lake Spenard is an active SeaPlane base. It's unique in that you are able to easily drive all around the lake with lots of place to park and watch all the aviation activity. You'll likely never see...

    I rented an Airbnb right near the lake, and walked down to this park daily. Clean area, plenty of parking for a small park with several receptacles for your trash. A few people had dogs which were able to run around in the area, they also provided dog waste bags which was nice you didn't see very many messes around. It was fun to watch the planes touch and go.
