Came for a birthday party at one of the shelters. Shelter was nice. Nice to have a play ground and a water spigot near by. Bathrooms weren’t too far away either. Have to bring your own trash can. And the pool wasn’t open. ☹️ The lady at the shack was nice and told us a regular made the scrabble name tags for them when I asked. Nice visit

A really nice State Park. So glad to have one close enough that it makes sense to get a season pass. It's really nice to get away from the hustle and bustle to experience the sites, sounds and smells of nature. Their paths are usually nice and clear and you never pass an unfriendly person.
