Contra Loma Regional Park is a 780acre regional park in Contra Costa County, California. It is part of the East Bay Regional Parks system. It is located in the city of Antioch and includes an 80acre reservoir.
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is updating its long-term plan for the Contra Loma Regional Park and the adjacent Antioch Community Park. The previous plan was written in 1975, before a population boom hit East Contra Costa County.
The reservoir, which is owned by the Contra Costa Water District (CCWD), is available for year-round fishing and a lifeguarded swim lagoon for summertime swimming. Fishing is allowed, but those who wish to fish must purchase a Daily Fishing Access Permit. There is also an access fee. The reservoir contains catfish, black and striped bass, bluegill, trout, and red-eared sunfish.
Biking is allowed. Alcoholic drinks are prohibited everywhere in the park.

  • Nice, clean park to enjoy with the family. Softball, soccer, a fun playground for the kiddos & a really nice reservoir to hike around or enjoy catching some fish... also, did see some people with their own paddle boat, so add your own non-powered boat to your fun filled day at the park.
  • Last of the large open spaces in Antioch There are some caves and ponds. Some steep trails will build your cardio. Sometimes the cows will stay in their spot and you can walk by them closely. In the winter and spring the hills are an emerald green. I saw many hawks hovering against the wind currents. Sometimes you can spot a coyote or bobcat.
