Everyone was very knowledgeable and especially friendly. They wanted to make sure that you enjoyed your visit. I got there about 10 am and left just a little before 3 pm. I spent most of my time outside walking up the hill/mountain. It was an easy walk and there were benches to sit, in order to enjoy the various views. I highly recommend everyone go. If you don't go into the museum area inside the gift shop, there's no charge to see everything outside, including the barn with it's many exhibits, and the Elvis Presley church, where you can book a wedding or special event. If you want to make a donation, there's several places to drop money 💰 into a donation box. I would recommend making a donation to keep this national treasure open and available.

Fun & unique area! You can spend as much or as little time as you want here. All the activities are not always available so be sure to make sure you’re going at a time with what you want to see. The mining/ gold panning wasn’t available today but the trains were running & the shoot out show was happening! Not a lot of shady spots to hang out and cool down in outside though. The big indoor museum costs several dollars a person but you can also just come for all the rest of the activities which are free.
