Spent the afternoon on the bay fishing with Captain Rudy. He took us to some truly magical spots. Was a typical Florida day and Captain Rudy made sure we were safe as the afternoon thundershowers rolled in. He is definitely knowledgeable and passionate about the area. We were having so much fun we stayed out longer just to continue enjoying the day!

Any good charter captain can make it a great trip when you’re catching lots of fish. A really good captain will keep it lively, show novices how to fish with patience and a sense of humor, and make it a great trip when you’re catching lots of fish. Only an exceptional captain, like Rudy, can make it a great trip when it’s that odd day that the fish aren’t biting - catfish, gars, and stingrays excepted. Captain Rudy told stories, mentored us on fishing techniques, and baited then re-baited our hooks numerous times as we spent a great morning on the water. If we’d had the time to go fishing one more time during our vacation and could have chosen any charter service on the gulf, I have no doubt we would have gone with Rudy again confident that we’d not only have equally as much fun, but would catch our fill.
