  • this park is spacious, clean and quiet. its water sources are beautiful. You can breathe fresh air. Very familiar. Handsome. Awesome place to spend the day. I paid $3 for my husband and I, so it's cheap. I recommend it.
  • Come here almost every year for my birthday and it has always been wonderful. The park is breathtakingly gorgeous. The water is crystal clear and cold. I love that there is a rushing current and not just a still pool of water. Taking the tubes down the stream is so nice. I love to swim it but BE WARNED the rocks are no joke. The currents are fast enough to slam your shin or toe into those rocks and it will mess you up. If you aren't careful of where the boulders under water are. You are in for a very rude awakening. So swim with caution. One end of the stream is fast moving. The other is very calm and slow moving. I usually go here in July or August when it's blistering heat outside and the water is very refreshing and cold. But I actually just went in February when it was in the 60s and the water actually felt warm in comparison to outside. We couldn't wait to get back in the water. And the park was EMPTY. Coming here early helps. The park on peak days can fill up very quickly. And the earlier you come the more luck you have with seeing wildlife like the otters. Great place to bring family and friends and have a BBQ or picnic and swim all day.
