King's Landing, Apopka

This place is probably one of the best things I've ever experienced here in Florida. What a great time we had. The staff was so nice and friendly. Everything from check in to getting on the kayaks went smoothly. It was so peaceful going down the river. I do suggest you go with some kayaking experience. I don't recommend this for a first timer because you will have to paddle up stream. Parking is limited so be prepared to park far and walk or ride your bike down to the entrance.

I had the best time kayaking this gorgeous place. The water is crystal clear, the environment is lush and green. It was amazing. It rained on the way back, and the staff helped me get my very heavy kayak out of the water and on the dry land. They were so helpful and friendly. You have to make a reservation. There is a small gift shop with the necessities if you forget something. I will definitely go back.
