The English Lavender Farm, Applegate

I reached out to Sue at the lavender farm to ask about doing a little tour with our homeschool group. She was absolutely wonderful! She talked to us about all the different varieties they grow, showed the kids how to clip the stems, taught us about their essential oil distillation process, and we topped the day off with some of their delicious treats! The strawberry lavender lemonade is a must try and my kids loved the ice creams they had. They have a shop with a great variety of lavender goods, as well as a lovely shaded patio with tables and chairs you can sit back and relax and enjoy the beauty. This is a fantastic place run by the sweetest family. I’m eager to go back and take some friends.

I enjoyed the live music and food the weekend of their event. They had craft classes and many lavender products for sale. There was a parking fee but it was worth it. Many families taking pictures, so beautiful!
