  • In the time of Covid pre-booking is required, and checking in was quick and efficient. The gardens are wonderful - far too much to see in one visit. Bring your camera! There are peaccoks strolling...  more »
  • Even as a tourist, clearly worth a visit - the peacocks, the vegetation and simply breathing in the fresh air during these COVID times, made our 2 hour visit a very pleasant one. Bring along a good...  more »
  • This place is beautiful! The Arboretum is an oasis in an otherwise busy area. Totally became a member. It was supposed to be the busiest time of day, but the place is big enough that it didn't feel crowded at all... Mind you it was a hundred degrees on the day I was there, but it never felt like there was too many people there. Every one of the staff members I encountered were delightful. I can't wait to go back and spend some time really exploring.
  • A beautiful facility that has trees and plants from around the world. Numerous trails meander through landscapes representing Asia, Africa, and Australia as well as Europe and North America. Most of the plants are labeled with a handful that have more detailed explanations. The old estate house is located on the property and is easily recognizable to fans of the 1970s show Fantasy Island. A holdover from the days as a private estate are the dozens of peafowl that roam the landscape. The males are often seen displaying their trademark plumage when a female pea hen walks by. Worth a half-day wander through the lush landscape but beware of watering from sprinklers in the morning.
