It was nice to see people out spending time under natural arches instead of golden arches and discovering that windows means more than an operating system. This is a very popular area of the park... more »
This was our second time visiting Arches National Park, but our first time seeing the double arch. It was 104 degrees and packed with people. We had a pleasant walk to the double arch with a bit of a climb up the rocks once inside the arch. Be sure to drink plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes with grippy soles if you want to climb up inside the arch. The scenery is beautiful. And you won't regret visiting. I wish we'd had more time to see the rest of the park.
I and my now fiance have come to arches for the last 2 summers in a row and enjoy every second of it. We still feel like we have more to see but the whole trip is so much fun and the sights are majestic. I ended up proposing under the double arch at night time which was amazing. I would recommend a visit to this national park to anyone. Just bring lots of water!
