We love to visit Village Creek. It is only about an hour drive from Memphis. There are fantastic hiking trails throughout the park. It is so beautiful out there. You can hike a portion of the Trail of Tears as well. It has a haunting feel to it. We have also stayed in the cabins and they are so fancy! I was really impressed with the renovations.

Welcome to Arkansas! Village Creek State Park in Wynne, AR. The park consists of 7000 acres situated entirely upon an unusual geological formation called Crowley's Ridge. It's a beautiful park with two huge lakes for fishing, swimming and boating. Very peaceful and relaxing to say the least. We have a very large rig (almost 70' combined) and negotiated the drive to our site just fine. However, there are only a handful of sites that would accommodate something like that so call ahead. The park is well maintained as well as the bath houses.
