  • Visiting the Sauna House is one of my favorite things, if not my favorite thing to do in Asheville. The experience of the hot sauna to cold plunge therapy is exactly what I need after a hard week...

  • Amazing experience!! I’m a huge fan of saunas, and this place was super clean and very nice inside. Great amenities and staff that were very friendly and helpful. The house contains two main saunas, upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs area is considered the quiet area, no talking allowed. The house also contained two separate cold plunges to enjoy immediately after the sauna that’s around 40 degrees F. There provide a very nice shower area with 6 individual showers, shampoo/soap included. Two separate walls of lockers. If you want to lock your items, be sure to bring your own lock (not provided). The house contains two areas of relaxation as well to chill and hang out, upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs area has several large heated stone-esque seats to warm you up after your cold plunge. Absolutely great experience to enjoy and highly recommend! Able to be here for 2 hours. Phones are not allowed after entering.
  • My first visit was on a week night with a friend, approx 6-8 pm. We used the communal sauna and ice plunge so it was $40. Got one large towel and smaller towels are available as needed. Plenty of lockers available. We wore our swimsuits there, took a cold shower as suggested before entering the sauna. The sauna on the main level allows talking and it was quite full so we went downstairs to the silent, no talking sauna. It all appeared quite clean although the floors got wetter as the night went on. Ice plunge was cold as expected, more cold showers in between and heated plastic sofas and chairs to rest on in the open common area on the main level. There is an ice plunge pool on both levels. The heat and cold was therapeutic for my bad knee. It was an interesting place to people watch. If you think you want to go frequently they have package plans. Also nice lotions , etc for sale near the check in.
