  • Exceptional tribute to a brilliant and sensitive man, poet, and song writer. Read the lyrics chiseled on the stones and you’ll be singing the songs in your head. Bring a lot of Kleenex.

  • One of my favorite places to pause, contemplate, and/or meditate. For me, it's a "must stop" when in Aspen, CO. They have expanded the Sanctuary experience to an even better venue since I first visited many years ago. It's a better, more nature-oriented venue experience that reflects what John would have been proud of.
  • How sweet it is to love someone, how right it is to care. Friends around the campfire and everybody's high. He walks in quiet solitude, the forest and the streams. Seeking grace in every step he takes. His sight has turned inside himself to try and understand The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake. And they say that he got crazy once and he tried to touch the sun. It was very hot and that was the end. Kermit was very upset.
