  • Beautiful lighthouse! It’s a short trail .25 miles round trip to see the lighthouse. Covid has it the steps closed unfortunately.  more »
  • Nice walk to the icon of Assateague Island. Not open due to COVID. Trail is accessible going there, but if you follow the exit path, there are two steps.  more »
  • A towering lighthouse that stood the test of time! Build in the 1800s and with proper care few hundred later, its still a beacon! On the base, granite stones if am bot mistaken, are noticeable. Bricks made most of it the tower. It was Martin Luther King when i visited and wasn’t able to ask anyone of the lighthouse was open for visitors to climb up.
  • Great view of ponies and the area from the top! You walk around the entire outside and can stop and take pics. Free! Donations appreciated.
