  • This is a great little place for a day trip or take the kids. It's only 5.50 for adults and kids 3 and under are free. It only takes about an hour to see everything. They have a fishing pond for adults and one for kids. They also have a nice little nature trail. We will definitely come back here.
  • Great family place. Admission price is reasonable or you can purchase a season pass. Very good displays of Texas fishing, fish culture and habitat along the ponds and in the museum. You can buy fish food and feed the fish in the exhibit ponds. At the casting pond you can fish for catfish, bluegill and rainbow trout. The fishing is free with rods, bait and instruction if you have never fished. The Game Warden’s museum is small but informative and Ken, the volunteer was great, answering questions and giving us detailed information. The wetlands trail exhibits were a bit overgrown and old but still informative. The tram tours were not running yet. Plenty of places to have a picnic and snacks at the gift shop. We spent 3 hrs here and were impressed.
