There are recordings of Dr. King’s sermons playing...you literally can let yourself feel like you were hearing them directly from him. It was cool just to be in the same space where he spent so much..... more »
This place mesmerized me. To stand in the actual sanctuary that a leader such as MLK Jr preached in was amazing. I purchased An autographed book by Velma Maia Thomas which have " receipts" for some stories in it. "LEST WE FORGET". BUT they MUST expand the gift store. TOO small. Entirely TOO small.
It has the presence of God and the history of great men of God building the communities around it. Dr.MLK Jr. was a pastor there and brought to the people the wisdom and knowledge of Christ. 👍✌😊🙌 Loved being there to worship.
