I came to Margaret Mitchell House for an event at night. Totally recommended. Incredible reception in the house, there we could enjoy the beauty of the architecture of the house and part of the history. Then the event continued in the patio, that it is great for a spring or summer night event. The dinner was in an other modern saloon that is in the patio. That saloon was great but restrooms are inside of the house. It meas that if it rains you have to cross the patio to go to the restrooms. After that everything perfect. Always is good to support local association that maintain historical building related with local culture.
I loved this tour. Neat sitting in the room where it was going going gone....with the wind. Nice tour that spoke about her and neat being in the same apartment. Also the set painting of Scarlett was housed in a building close by and the upper floors of the apartment had some unique items about the premiere. Cute gift shop with nice friendly staff! They were very helpful regarding our visit to Atlanta! Southern charm! Cost $26 for two adults.
