  • We love this park. I'd actually call it a resort. The spots are HUGE. Tons of trees and space. Very safe and clean. I love that every spot has trees between it and the next spot. And this place is HUGE 🤩 We especially enjoy all the water. We swam at the beach... wasn't great swimming but so beautiful you can't really complain. And.. reasonable priced! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.
  • Reasonably priced to get in wanted to kyack and camp there but haven't had the chance yet. Only went for the day and done some fishing, had a small picnic, and we swam in the creek that runs through the refuge we had a good time. As a side note if you do want to fish there bring live bait as there are only bream and catfish in the ponds. They have some nice camp sites but note if you are tent camping the sites are not close the water and are at the back end of the park. You can only tent camp in that area. Most of the real good spots are reserved for pull behind campers and RV's. They also have tubing there as well.
