  • Cute zoo with lots to offer. Not too big, so it wasn't overwhelming and in my opinion a good size for small kids. I wasn't sure what to think about this place after reading some negative reviews. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend. The best part for my 6 and 4 year old kids was the splash park. Note that in the summer you will have crowds from camps show up.
  • This zoo is the perfect size for any day, but especially when SO hot outside. There are picnic tables in an area that gets covered in natural shade by early afternoon. Children wear water gear and play all day in water spurting fountains made just for them! Bathrooms are clean and have their own toilet paper and soap - huge bonus. For food, snacks or frozen lemonade or water are available for purchase, but I'd recommend bringing a picnic to break up a day of fun and communing with a number of animals who would appreciate the company/distraction.
