  • Enjoyed my visit to the museum since I wanted to know more about Augusta, it's history, and how it has changed over the years. The collection of various memorabilia is terrific, the museum is laid out well to make it easy to follow the "story," and the surroundings are very pleasant. If visiting Augusta and have the time, this is well worth a visit. Definitely a must see to learn more about the history of Augusta. Definitely do not miss the Godfather of soul James Brown area. Very informative. Able to take pictures. Cost is family friendly
  • Wow! What a great museum. I didn’t have time to see it all, so I am going back for sure. They have so many wonderful displays that bring history to life. It’s like taking a stroll back through time. I really liked the large displays as well as the memorabilia ones. The James Brown Collection was a treat. Like I mentioned, I ran out of time and will get to return to see more. I highly recommend this museum.
