  • Honestly I've lived in Aurora for decades and never knew this place existed! Awesome place to see some water and walk on a soft trail. The bugs are relentless but truly spectacular for being in the city. There are not a lot of people on the trails and after you walk from the parking lot the noise just disappears. Parking is not free, but there is a school across the street that's free to park in and you'll have to cross over Quincy. A great spot to clear your mind!
  • A getaway in the city. Great path for walking/running/ bike riding with plenty of places to go down to the water and play on the shore with the kids. I don't fish, but see plenty of people catching fish here. We see duck and geese families throughout the season as well as a lot of other cool birds. Great sunsets over the mountains as well. I really wish Quincy Reservoir was open during the winter months, but understand it serves a purpose to be closed.
