Spanning 120 hectares (290 acres), Six Flags Over Georgia is host to a wide array of rides, family-friendly attractions, and a water park. Thrill seekers should head for the Goliath roller coaster to experience a drop of 20 stories at 113 km/h (70 mph). The ride routinely ranks among the top steel roller coasters as rated by Amusement Today. There is plenty for children and the less adventurous to enjoy too, such as a carousel tower and bumper cars. Cool off in the 2.8 hectare (7 acre) tropical-themed water park, boasting a giant wave pool, super-fast slides, and a kids' playground. Check the schedule for live entertainment shows. With our world travel planner, Austell attractions like Six Flags Over Georgia can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

Six Flags Over Georgia reviews
Amazing theme park for the whole family! Lots to do, & lots of rides for all ages! The food is a bit pricey so worth it to get the dining pass. If you plan to go more than 2-3 days it's worth it to get the season pass! I highly suggest to get the reusable cups as well! The water park is fun but get there as soon as they open if you want some chairs. Overall, I highly recommend visiting Six Flags Over Georgia. You'll definitely have a blast!
Don't get me wrong, I've gone to this Six Flags 3 times. All of them have been an absolute blast, and they always are. Today I went back and I have to say, the quality of workers within the last 4 years has gone DOWNHILL! I'm 18 years old with a life left to live (not to be dramatic), and when I was boarding onto the Batman coaster ride, the girl "checking" people's seats totally skipped the last 4 rows, even despite us all yelling "WAIT!" Because our seats were loose. It was too late because while we're struggling to get it to tighten, they had already started the ride. It was like this on several other rides as well. The rides are super fun, but if you go please be sure to make sure that your seat is comfortable and reach out to someone if you feel unsafe about it! Overall though, the atmosphere is very lively and the food I had was quite good at the sports bar place! Highly recommend the boneless wings with the buffalo sauce and fries! One thing I did notice I was a little disappointed about was that many of the carnival type games had no people working them (which I'm sure is due to short staffing or issues of that sort) but my friends and I were looking forward to that! However, this park definitely knocks Disney out of the ballpark with their roller coasters and rides in general if you're an adrenaline junkie like me!
