Spanning 120 hectares (290 acres), Six Flags Over Georgia is host to a wide array of rides, family-friendly attractions, and a water park. Thrill seekers should head for the Goliath roller coaster to experience a drop of 20 stories at 113 km/h (70 mph). The ride routinely ranks among the top steel roller coasters as rated by Amusement Today. There is plenty for children and the less adventurous to enjoy too, such as a carousel tower and bumper cars. Cool off in the 2.8 hectare (7 acre) tropical-themed water park, boasting a giant wave pool, super-fast slides, and a kids' playground. Check the schedule for live entertainment shows. With our world travel planner, Austell attractions like Six Flags Over Georgia can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.
Six Flags Over Georgia Reviews
I took four senior girls on an “After Prom” adventure day. It’s still very early in the season, so it’s completely understandable that they didn’t have all the attractions open yet and we’re probably ... more »
We had family passes that included dining when we went. We have a large family, and for a little more than what it would cost us to go to the movies once, we had unlimited trips to this theme park, pl... more »
We bought the Diamond Elite Membership for the first time this year as well as the Dining Membership too. It is AWESOME because you pay a smaller monthly price and get so many GREAT BENEFITS including lunch, snack, & dinner each visit for only $4.70 a month. And also 50% off of pretty much EVERYTHING in the park including food, merchandise, friend tickets, etc. And we even "pay it forward by helping others get 1/2 off their purchases too". And you earn points for every visit and every dollar you spend & can use those points for GREAT rewards! It is WAY BETTER than a season pass! ❤ I will never buy a season pass again!
We always have a great time here. We're season pass holders and go frequently. The only complaint I have is that the food prices are out of control. It's cheaper to eat at Disney World than it is here. Around lunch time if we plan on staying longer, we'll go back out to the car and hit the Wendy's about half mile up the road. Which reminds me - come early! You'll get more done between 8 a.m. and noon then you will the entire rest of the day. The park starts filling up around 11 or so when the lines go from nothing to 90 minutes plus. The best bang-for-the-buck is to buy a membership, at least one. It's relatively cheap spread out over 12 months. The membership usually has a discounted ticket available pretty much anytime through the year so you can bring somebody with you. If you do get a membership make sure you get one that also includes free parking. unless you're taking public transportation you're going to need that.
