Spanning 120 hectares (290 acres), Six Flags Over Georgia is host to a wide array of rides, family-friendly attractions, and a water park. Thrill seekers should head for the Goliath roller coaster to experience a drop of 20 stories at 113 km/h (70 mph). The ride routinely ranks among the top steel roller coasters as rated by Amusement Today. There is plenty for children and the less adventurous to enjoy too, such as a carousel tower and bumper cars. Cool off in the 2.8 hectare (7 acre) tropical-themed water park, boasting a giant wave pool, super-fast slides, and a kids' playground. Check the schedule for live entertainment shows. With our world travel planner, Austell attractions like Six Flags Over Georgia can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.
Six Flags Over Georgia Reviews

I brought my group of high school students on our day off during a conference. We had a wonderful time! There were plenty of rides to choose from, and we all enjoyed them! Superman is one of my FAVORI... more »
We had a great time! I'm glad they offer something for everyone. The kiddie area is really better than it used to be. My kids really enjoyed all the rides. Wait time wasn't even bad for the roller coasters. We had a blast at the water park as well. The only thing I think the life guards need to be a little more helpful with inner tubes and the slides, Instead of just standing there in waterproof jackets. I mean if you don't want to get wet you shouldn't be working as a lifeguard right? Besides that over all we had a awesome day!
Good times, fun rides. Very expensive... budget your trip ahead of time to save money. Lots of hills so wear your walking shoes. Bring strollers for children who hate walking in the heat or if they fall asleep. It was 97 degrees the day we went. So bring a rag and/or a umbrella. Stay hydrated! They need more shade and more chairs and cooling stations. 😁
A good amusement park with a nice variety of rides, some of the best coasters I've ever been on. This isn't Disney or Universal, but a place to get some thrills and enjoy a day with the family. Superman may be the best coaster I've ever rode on. Battle for Metropolis is on par with anything Disney or Universal have to offer. Also pleased with the Log Jamboree and so happy to see Sky Buckets here that take me child to childhood at Disney World where they no longer exist. Sigh. On the negative side our lunch was terrible; a lot of rides were closed with no information posted at all. We found the place to be very well staffed and staff were friendly and worked pretty well overall.
My friend invited me today for bring a friend free at Six Flags Over Georgia and I had a really good time we got there early got good parking and he had a diamond pass which means we got to go right and didn't have to wait in line. I highly suggest upgrading your pass if you plan on going often. Now you do it online so you can customize it to your liking including food passes I think he said he is a free meal and a snack and then he have the refillable cups that I think they're $20 the first time and then you can refill them for the entire season. We rode the Mindbender and the Scream Machine and a lot of other eyes I really like the laser tag ride for Justice League that was so much fun.
