Spanning 120 hectares (290 acres), Six Flags Over Georgia is host to a wide array of rides, family-friendly attractions, and a water park. Thrill seekers should head for the Goliath roller coaster to experience a drop of 20 stories at 113 km/h (70 mph). The ride routinely ranks among the top steel roller coasters as rated by Amusement Today. There is plenty for children and the less adventurous to enjoy too, such as a carousel tower and bumper cars. Cool off in the 2.8 hectare (7 acre) tropical-themed water park, boasting a giant wave pool, super-fast slides, and a kids' playground. Check the schedule for live entertainment shows. Six Flags Over Georgia Reviews
We visited on 1st day of 2020 as part of their Christmas celebrations and surprisingly the crowd rush was not much during first few hours and we could complete many rides. This place offers so many... more »

The rides are really fun. Tickets are reasonably priced, but the new membership programs are by far the best value, especially if you catch them on sale. The food is over priced, but it's an amusement park so no surprise there. I'm not a fan of the uninterested, "just here for a paycheck" teenage ride attendants. My wife and I were both really impressed with the first aid attendants though. They were extremely nice, knowledgeable and helpful.
I'm only giving Six Flags Over Georgia 3 stars instead of more. Good selection of rides, the dining pass is a must if you go more than a couple of times. Where the park really lacks is a lack of fans and shade around the park, especially in the ride queues. Also, they need to run the AC at a much cooler temperature inside of restaurants. I literally almost passed out and hit the floor waiting to get food and a drink because of the extreme heat outside. The temperature was almost 100 degrees outside (heat index was over 100), and inside the restaurant it was maybe 85. And you guessed it, zero fans to move air around. Waited 30 minutes to get to the register to order food and a drink. My head pounded due to heat exposure. Seriously, this is a hazard, and something needs to be done about it around the entire park. I had to leave the park and sit in my car in the parking lot just to cool off. The bathroom next door to the restaurant seemed to be the only place that actually had AC that was cool.
