Fun place. Ranger was very accommodating and went out of his way to show us all the cool features of the park! Recommend visiting March-April to avoid the heat!

Loved our time here! We used the campground from a 2022 October Wednesday night through Saturday morning, with its great picnic table with shelter, fire pit, barbecue, and super clean pit toilet building. We had a camper, and explored both the park and surrounding ghost towns and mines by ATV and on foot. The park's self-guided tour signs are the best I've encountered, really bringing the place to life. And the Ichthyosaur fossils are amazing. The ranger was friendly and very helpful regarding special things to see, and even opened the fossil building off hours for us and another group.
