  • Cozy sitting area and a little shop, not much though. Easy to get to the tour vans just outside. Very organized.  more »

  • Not really a visitor center, it's more of a central booking site for various tours, and a retail store for various tourist-y items. There are a handful of booklets that a traveler would find helpful, but this is nothing like other visitor centers we've visited around the country. It's in a section of town with no nearby tourist attractions. If you are in the area, go ahead and stop in, but don't go out of your way to go there like we did.
  • Pretty awesome space! It's changed a lot since the hey days. There is a small space for events. I was there for the Music Video Festival and it was a cool spot. My favorite thing are all the local wares from hot sauce to kitchen towels made by artists in Austin. They are fun and really touch on the personality of Austinite. Even if you live here, it's worth checking the items out and supporting local creators. Also, don't forget to check out this cool neon sign!
