Capitol Complex Visitors Center Reviews
An experience in seeing the architecture and the surrounds of this building. Certainly well worth the time to visit and learn more about Texas. more »

Worth visiting this free attraction on Texas state history. It's admission-free and air-conditioned and when the Austin heat hits, it's a nice escape. The center offers information on the State Capitol as well exhibits on Texas history. The second floor has computers set-up where you can find pretty cool information about Texas. It complements the State Capitol building very well and is worth the time it takes to visit - I'd say around 45 minutes to an hour.
It was a really nice visitors center. Everyone there was nice and friendly. But like most things in the u.s. they don't have much in the way of American made things. Even the things with the Texas flag were made in China. It would be nice if they would sell nothing as opposed to that kind of stuff. And in a state this big you would think they could find some locally sourced things.
