Love this little place so many different fun pads to walk on great for hikers dog walkers and bird watchers the waterfalls are so lovely here and tranquil there is a lot of boat and jet ski noise which can disturb the peace but other than that it's just lovely down the main Hill right by the water it's like a big dog park down there with lots of dogs🐶 in the summer I'm sure this is a great place to cool off 🙂

This is an off-the-beaten-path Metropolitan park located off the 2244. Parking is along a narrow roadside and there are several walking paths to the sprawling grass, lakeside and waterfall areas. There are a few old historical cabins to read about & the property has a very interesting background to read about. Overall, this natural open space is very appealing and the hikes are quite picturesque. I suggest a large blanket & picnic-like set up. There’s not much shade available down by the water, so don’t forget your sunscreen. There’s also a net for volleyball. On the flip side: Check bacteria levels for dogs before you come. Keep dogs away from retaining walls where stagnant water has algae.
