  • Such a cool art museum. Local Austin pieces and great price to view, free! Chick at the front desk, super rude. Think she is not happy there. Hope the best for her future non-customer facing endeavors. Otherwise, great venue.
  • This small museum is well worth a visit. At certain times of the year, elaborate Mexican shrines to the dead are on display, made by family members, and every one is different, as it will feature objects that had meaning to the departed. Some will be very personal and poignant, and some funny. All are colorful and interesting. I was pleased that you are allowed to take photographs. I've visited twice, different years, and the displays were entirely different. There is also a section with items for sale at very reasonable prices. A good place to find a momento to take home for yourself, or for a friend or family member. The staff are friendly, and the experience is delightful. It is great for what it is, but it is a small place, which is the only reason I didn't rate it five stars.
