    LOADS of fruiting fruit trees on the paths around the lake, water is maintained and aerated with huge fountains, LOADS of fish, turtles, ducks even Lesser Blue Egrets. Fantastic place to read in the.....  more »

    One of the nicest parks in Austin. This has a great little children's playground, as well as the duck-filled lake, a nice open green space, and a good walking path around the lake. Excellent location with good restaurants nearby as well.

    Perfect place to bring the kids even in Triple digit weather. All play equipment has good shading from trees so kids don't over heat. Make sure to bring your on water. The on site fountains aren't cold. Also plenty of benches/shadded seating for adults.
