  • The University Museum is a large museum with a solid design that is not thought to be. Boasting nearly 18,000 works, it is one of the largest university museums in the United States. The collection mainly includes Renaissance and Baroque art, 20th and contemporary art in the United States, and 20th and contemporary art in Latin America, but there are also numerous other collections. There was also a room for Greek and Roman sculptures. Especially, there is a collection of 1,600 works in Latin America, and there are considerably a lot of this kind of work. There was a space with four diagonal walls and stylish arches painted blue when i entered. It's like a modern palace. There are a lot of works from Baroque to Rococo here. Father Jan Bruegel, Guido Leni, Rubens, Strozzi, Simon Vue, Guercino, Claude L'Oran, Luca Giordano, Sebastiano Rich and Domenico Tiepolo are all on the line. American paintings are also substantial. In that corner, of course, there was Yasuo Kuniyoshi's relatively early work "The Waitresses of Sparfork". When i left the museum, I could see the dome of the Texas State Capitol right in front of me.
