Nice park with lots of walking and exploring options. Very peaceful and relaxing. A nice way to get away from the rush of downtown.

Dog friendly and lots of space to move even on a busy day. Great skyline view and ample parking. Bring friends or meet new ones. This is a popular spot to hang and chill. Mornings are slow and great for dogs/kids who like to run. Weekends can get busy, hang by the rock or volleyball courts if you enjoy a crowd. Otherwise tuck away somewhere and smoke some bud. All is chill at this vibrant park. Make sure to pack a blanket and sunscreen because you will probably want to hang around for a bit

This is one of my most favorite parks in America. It has miles and miles of hike and bike trails that run along the Colorado River from the west side of town to the east side on both sides of the river! You can go boating ... swimming... hiking ..biking. Attend concerts ... play soccer ...football and fly kites by Rock Island and even ride a train. There are plenty of picnic tables too. Some so big you can sit up to 10 people. Perfect park to picnic with a large family. The views along the river of the city are amazing, especially at sunset when the bats fly out from under Congress Street Bridge. Oh, and also, there is a great off lease dog park by the Stevie Ray Vaun statue. It has something for everyone. Just be aware that in the spring, there is an abundance of poison ivy/oak along the side of the trails. A great place to visit year around
