  • Spectacular views. This was one of my favorites stops of the many overlooks along the Badlands Loop Road. Make sure to walk out onto the rocks for an even better experience.  more »
  • White River Vally Overlook is the Badlands and. TheBlack Hills of WY. Was a very interesting place to visit. The rock looks like mud that has been peturfied. And the Black Hills are very black. Most of the hills do not have trees on them, all weeds or grass. Great place to visit! It's very dry and looks a lot like California rolling hills.i
  • Breathtaking! They're weren't any handrails, so it's best to be aware of how close to the edge you get, especially since the ground in the Badlands is really soft and breaks easily. Despite the obvious danger of falling, it didn't feel dangerous or scary, probably due to such a great view. If you visit the Badlands, make sure to stop at this overlook!
