  • Glad we did it, but the stairwell is older, often narrow and steep. View from the top is amazing, though. The last flight of steps is just a ladder. Beware!

  • The lighthouse was very interesting. Climbing to the top was fun and the view was well worth it my time. I do have suggestions for the museum though. There is a letter from the 1800s and I would have liked to see a legibly typed version somewhere near. Also, the artillery from the forts remnants that is displayed has no weights listed. How heavy was that huge cannonball? Maybe next time I'll find out 😉
  • My friend and I spent a long weekend in Southport. We reserved this tour about a week out and luckily Hunter was able to fit us into the group. This is the perfect way to explore Bald Head Island. Hunter was an absolute delight to be around and very knowledgeable. This tour is definitely worth it!
