This museum is a gem located in Downtown Baltimore dedicated to the history of enslaved people with a focus on the mid-Atlantic states. The staff and educational programs are fabulous.

This is an excellent museum. You can tell that every detail was thought out. It has a good combination of historical and contemporary exhibits. I plan to go back whenever there is a new exhibit...

Always educational and stunning, (and devastating at times when you think about some of the racist atrocities that are documented). It's one thing to read about history and another to share space with artifacts that were really there. Maryland educators get free admission! I recommend parking in the lot across the street and having your ticket validated for a discount. Check the website for hours and special events before going. Walking distance from the Inner Harbor and Little Italy.

This was an amazing museum. I learned so much about Maryland and Baltimore history. I would love to see more exhibits open but with what I was offered I really enjoyed my time there! A hidden gem in Baltimore that everyone should visit!
