Nature / Park · Wildlife Area
A huge wild animal petting park, West Coast Game Park Safari, houses 450 animals from 75 species. Big cats like lions, tigers, leopards, and cougars are cared for and bred at this facility, and you will have a chance to interact with some of them. You'll encounter free-roaming goats, sheep, deer, and peacocks, which you can feed and take photos with. Times for special interactions with the animals are not specified (they depend on crowds), but listen for intercom announcements while at the park to catch a special presentation while you're there. • The free range animals are fun and adorable. They can be a little demanding with the food, which they clearly get plenty of. The caged animals are breathtaking to see so close. The enclosures do seem small as others have mentioned but the animals all appear well cared for. Having the opportunity to pet the babies and have the up close meet and greets with them in nothing short of amazing for the absolute animal lover in me. It is clear the care takers and animals have a strong bond and are well loved.
  • This has been my favorite place to visit since i was very small. The nursery visit was really great. We got to hold or touch all the animals they brought out. The handlers were very considerate of the people wanting to experience the animals as well as making sure the animals were safe. The handlers were very knowledgeable in all the areas where we were able to pet the animals throughout the park! The cashier was very pleasant and helpful too! They are doing a great job at keeping the park cleaned up.
