  • Nice state park that serves as a great home base for exploring the Keewenaw Peninsula. It's a smaller park, but the lots are good sized and most are well covered in grass, with the parking area...

  • Campsite 79 was great for 4 people and 2 large vehicles a truck and SUV, could fit 1 more and at least 2 more tents if wanted. I give it 4 stars because of traffic noise but other than that it was...

  • Yes it's by the road, but I didn't find it bothersome. We had a lot in the 90's over by the bathroom away from shining car lights, had the bathroom lights shining in our camper instead. Oh well, didn't hinder our experience. Showers decent and bathrooms clean and pretty nice. Way nicer then some state parks. Wish we would have known a full hook up was available! A good location to be about 1 hour away from Bond Falls, Copper Harbor (little longer), & Houghton. No beach but there are plenty of tiny beaches around and hidden spots by the rivers. Bring bug spray, you're in the woods and lots of bugs.
  • Baraga State Park is really worth a visit. It's very well maintained with spacious sites and lots of green. Situated right across from lake Superior there's a nice breeze most of the time.
