Baraga State Park is situated a quarter mile south of Baraga along US-41 and overlooks Lake Superior’s scenic Keweenaw Bay. Camping is available at 113 grassy sites. Other types of lodging include Antlers Mini Cabin and Kitchigami Tepee. Watching wildlife, fishing, hiking, picnicking, swimming and kayaking are among the many activities of this park along with many fun events. The park has restrooms, showers, Wi-Fi, a sanitation station, seven pull through campsites and 20 and 30 amp electrical service.

    Campsite 79 was great for 4 people and 2 large vehicles a truck and SUV, could fit 1 more and at least 2 more tents if wanted. I give it 4 stars because of traffic noise but other than that it was...  more »

    They have an awesome teepee. Bummer it was reserved :/ worth a peek for sure though. It’s a bit noisy but that created a fun challenge. Good for making apple crumble. Also: thunder, lightning, and...  more »

    Fantastic state park! Has running water and electricity at the sites, hot showers, modern toilets, friendly staff, everything you need to camp. We stayed in the teepee with three kids and three adults and it was amazing. Great adventure with a different twist. Best part is I didn't have to set up tents, canopies, or even beds. The only drawback was how close the highway is to the campground, but a basic set of earplugs resolves that completely! We absolutely loved it and will return again as soon as possible.

    Great run place. Campsites very nice. Parts were under construction when we were there or they would recieve 5 stars. Great location.
