Preservation Distillery, Bardstown

This is a few days late but I want to give a shout out to Mathew @preservation_distillery for after hours tour and hospitality. My stepson and I pulled into an empty parking lot last Monday to find Preservation closed. Mathew spotted us and flagged us down offering to give us a quick tour of this cool micro distillery. We only got to taste the freshly distilled white dog bourbon straight from the hose but could tell by the passion of this group that their bourbon is going to be special when it comes to age and hits shelves. We had the fullest intentions of getting back by to buy some of their just released Irish whiskey but regrettably couldn’t fit it into our schedule. Overpriced and disappointing. It was $15 per person and the tour was about 10 minutes. It was overall unimpressive and the tour guide wasn’t super friendly.
